Kamini is passionate about technology, education and Web3. She began her career in Edtech, where she recognized early-on the transformative potential of technology in reshaping education in India. She has over 6 years of experience in early stage investing and overall, 10 years of experience.

Currently, she works as AVP in the investment team at Gemba Capital evaluating investments in SaaS, Health-tech and Consumer-tech. Additionally, she plays an active role in building sectoral thesis and writing blogs. She was early founding team member of Gemba Capital and has been with the firm since inception.

Prior to Gemba Capital, she has worked as an Associate at Axilor Ventures, wherein she looked at investment opportunities in SaaS and Enterprise tech.

Before transitioning to her role as an early-stage investor, she worked as a Business Analyst at Indus Valley Partners, a technology solutions provider for global Private Equity and Hedge Funds.

Prior to Indus Valley Partners, she worked for 3 years in the Edtech industry. She was part of the early team at BYJU's, where she contributed to content creation, product development of the K12 Learning App, and conducted Chemistry classes to prepare aspiring students for engineering entrance exams and Olympiads.

She has completed her Masters in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Management Studies (JBIMS) and B. Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT, Nagpur.

She has completed 5 high altitude Himalayan treks and Tata Mumbai Marathon in the last 2.5 years. In her leisure time, she can be found reading non-fiction books, trekking, and running.
